Delicate Arch

Posted by Jia Pu (Bay Area, United States) on 1 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

To catch the legendary golden sun shine casting on Delicate Arch at sunset, we did the 3-mile round trip hike twice in two consecutive days. Unfortunately we arrived too late on the first time. And on the second time, the thunder storm took away our another chance. If there is anything good about the thunder storm, it drove away the flock of photographers who wait for the golden hour every day with their Canon L lenses. We had this magnificent sight almost all to ourselves.

It turns out that this is not the first time that Delicate Arch appears in my photo.
